Comporta — the Portuguese coast’s most genuinely slow destination — has drawn a retreat culture built on simplicity: rice fields, white sand, and a deliberate decision not to over-develop. The operator’s teaching credentials are real: Vinyasa / Hatha. The lineage — undefined — is documented and traceable, not invented for marketing purposes.

The practice

Morning vinyasa sessions are dynamically sequenced, emphasising breath-movement integration over shape. Teachers here understand the difference between flow as fitness and flow as practice.

Sessions run twice daily. The morning practice opens the body and builds heat; the evening session completes the arc. The sequence across the week is deliberate — not the same class repeated seven times.

Setting and logistics

Maximum 12 guests per programme, which is small enough to guarantee individual teacher attention and large enough to support genuine group dynamics.
