Why we list it
Portofino Riviera Yoga has established a consistent record across multiple programme cohorts. Umbria — the green heart of Italy — has developed a quieter retreat culture alongside Tuscany. Fewer international visitors, smaller properties, and a landscape of olive groves and hill towns that feels genuinely unhurried.
The operator’s teaching credentials are real: Vinyasa / Yin. The lineage — undefined — is documented and traceable, not invented for marketing purposes.
The practice
Morning vinyasa sessions are dynamically sequenced, emphasising breath-movement integration over shape. Teachers here understand the difference between flow as fitness and flow as practice.
Sessions run twice daily. The morning practice opens the body and builds heat; the evening session completes the arc. The sequence across the week is deliberate — not the same class repeated seven times.
Setting and logistics
Maximum 8 guests per programme, which is small enough to guarantee individual teacher attention and large enough to support genuine group dynamics.
Who it suits
Practitioners who want to practice seriously in a setting that earns its environment. The combination of destination, teaching lineage, and group size creates conditions that a local studio class cannot replicate.
Pricing note
Pricing includes accommodation and all meals for the full programme duration. Transfer costs from the nearest international airport are not included — budget accordingly.
