Ikaria Wellness Retreat has established a consistent record across multiple programme cohorts. Greece has been running yoga retreats since before European yoga culture became mainstream. Ancient philosophical history, Mediterranean light, island isolation, and anti-inflammatory cuisine make it a natural retreat environment.

The practice

Fully supported postures with bolsters and blankets allow the body to release without effort. These sessions are not passive — they require a quality of receptive attention that most active practitioners find genuinely difficult.

Sessions run twice daily. The morning practice opens the body and builds heat; the evening session completes the arc. The sequence across the week is deliberate — not the same class repeated seven times.

Setting and logistics

Maximum 10 guests per programme, which is small enough to guarantee individual teacher attention and large enough to support genuine group dynamics.
