Bali Usada Retreat — Restorative Retreat

Why we list it

Bali Usada Retreat has established a consistent record across multiple programme cohorts. Canggu has developed a second yoga culture alongside Ubud: less ashram-intensive, more practice-focused, drawing younger practitioners and resident international teachers who settled here after the post-2010 wellness expansion.

The operator’s teaching credentials are real: Restorative / Hatha. The lineage — undefined — is documented and traceable, not invented for marketing purposes.

The practice

Fully supported postures with bolsters and blankets allow the body to release without effort. These sessions are not passive — they require a quality of receptive attention that most active practitioners find genuinely difficult.

Sessions run twice daily. The morning practice opens the body and builds heat; the evening session completes the arc. The sequence across the week is deliberate — not the same class repeated seven times.

Setting and logistics

Maximum 12 guests per programme, which is small enough to guarantee individual teacher attention and large enough to support genuine group dynamics.

Who it suits

Practitioners who want to practice seriously in a setting that earns its environment. The combination of destination, teaching lineage, and group size creates conditions that a local studio class cannot replicate.

Pricing note

Pricing includes accommodation and all meals for the full programme duration. Transfer costs from the nearest international airport are not included — budget accordingly.
